Situated in the green belt on the site of the former Bayram Timber Yard and within a conservation area, this project presented a number of challenges to development, not least the change of use from employment status to largely residential. 

Working collaboratively with planning consultants CBRE, and responding positively to the demands of the Local Authority and local residents, we managed to secure planning and conservation area consents for a sensitively designed private residential development with adjacent workshops. The mix of buildings is as follows:

- 5 x 3-bed affordable houses

- 4 x 3-bed low cost houses

- 13 x 3 and 4-bed live/ work houses

- 2 x 5-bed open market houses

- 1155m2 workshop units

The development is very successful and commended by the local community enhancing the character and appearance of the site to the benefit of the countryside and an area of high landscape value.
