The Local Authority’s adopted core strategy sets out a requirement for new houses and an area to the south of the village, owned by The West Midlands Pension Fund, has been identified as one potential site.
The plans for up to 1,000 homes include a new public park and space for allotments plus a parking area to help ease existing parking pressures in the centre of the village.
