The brief was simple: to create an elegant, open-plan, flexible solution that would be attractive to the broadest range of potential tenants.
The straightforward rectilinear form and uncomplicated use of external render delivers excellent value.
Aesthetically this form is then energised by the variable window pattern and the use of external sun shading to the larger glazed areas.
However these elements also have a serious and practical purpose. The window pattern has been developed to allow the introduction (and ultimately the removal) of a very broad range of cellular office layouts, but without the need to fix internal partitions to window mullions. The shading avoids glare from direct sunlight creating well-lit yet calm working spaces.
