Boutique hotel suites were created within the grade II* Wivenhoe House - the wartime home of the SAS. Additionally, an insensitive 1980's bedroom wing was demolished to create room for 24 contemporary bedroom suites within a new elegant and flexible hotel pavilion. This combination of room types gives students exposure to range of hotel environments.
The new pavilion cantilevers over the modern day equivalent of a 'Victorian garden wall' that accommodates the Conference Centre, Gallery and Brasserie. These public areas take advantage of the surrounding views across the restored terrace, Sunken Garden and Vegetable Garden - all set within the Heritage landscape.
